Hello and welcome to the Shou Case! My name on Twitch.TV is ShouraiLive, although I just tell everyone to call me Shou (pronounced "Show") to make it easier, hence my hashtag, ItsShouTime. I was born with cerebral palsy, which has rendered me unable to walk, non-speaking, and only able to use my right hand. In reality though I mainly only use my thumb and middle finger, although I do throw in my index finger sometimes. Along with some JRPGs, I play and stream games that you wouldn't think could be played with two or three fingers. Here on this site, you can check out what I'm up to on social media, when I go live on Twitch along with my schedule, and my other projects.

The reason why I created this website was to have one central hub for everything of mine. Previously, I had to go There for That Review, Here for This Review, etc.. That had gotten tedious and confusing, but now I can just grab the links and whatnot from here. I also put an embedded Twitch player on here, to make things easier for people. In addition, a website helps to solidify your online presence.
I was lucky enough to get a PlayStation 5 back in March. Seeing the PS5 touts unprecedented audio (one might say it’s a Virtual Barbershop of audio), I was looking for a new gaming headset, to test it out with. As a result, I am back with another headset review. My second Turtle Beach review to be exact -- Turtle Beach’s Recon 500 over-ear gaming headset.
Strategy RPGs have always been my weakest suit because I suck at strategizing (which is one reason why I get bodied in fighting games). That being said, I've played the Disgaea series since the first game, Hour of Darkness, way back on the PlayStation 2. As such, I was interested when Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny was announced.

[…] Collective Minds Gaming Co. Ltd. is also back with the next iteration in their PS4 StrikePack line of attachments: The Strike Pack Eliminator Mod Pack adapter. The question still remains though: How is it?
Within the last two console generations, controller converters/adapters have become more and more prevalent. These USB accessories make it so a controller from one system can work on another. Over the years, I’ve used a number of these converters, including an eTokki PS2-to-360 converter, a COOV N-100/FastSnail controller converter, a Mayflash Magic-NS, and now Collective Minds Gaming Co. Ltd.’s Switch Up Game Enhancer V2.0. The question remains, though: From an accessibility standpoint, does the Switch Up get an upvote or a downvote?
Over recent years, I have come to value sound quality and comfort above all else in a headset. Sound quality is especially important for gaming, as well as for music. That’s why I was excited to review Turtle Beach’s Elite Pro 2 + SuperAmp for PS4 and PS4 Pro (“PS4 Elite Pro 2”) over-ear headset.
The turn-based role-playing game genre is one of my all-time favorites. Unfortunately, series like Final Fantasy have moved away from turn-based combat, and most of the games that have been released this generation that do utilize turn-based combat, lack the charm and appeal that made older games so endearing. I can only think of two exceptions: gacha game Granblue Fantasy, and Cosmic Star Heroine.
I’m back with another dungeon crawler review, and his time it ’s something that I can play without hassle. I decided to give Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk a try, seeing it’s on consoles rather than on a handheld. This allowed me to not only play without restrictions but also to look at what I’m doing without tilting my head sideways. However, is the game good, or should it be locked in a labyrinth?
It’s very rare that I do not like first-party controllers, but the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Cons are one such example. They have no weight to them and when in the Grip, they sit at an odd angle on a table which makes them impossible for me to use. So I began looking for alternatives, specifically ones that don’t cost $70 USD like the official Pro Controller. This led to me to try the FastSnail Controller Converter (which I later discovered doesn’t work with the PS4 StrikePack F.P.S. Dominator), and the 8BitDo F30 Pro controller.
Video games based on comic book franchises have by in large been lackluster. Things started to turn around however when Rocksteady released Batman: Arkham Asylum in 2009. It didn’t take long for it to be hailed as the Batman game, a sentiment that I agree with. Marvel has always been behind the curve in regards to games based on their franchises, but has that changed with the PS4-exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man

Over the years, I have used a number of different controllers, and have contemplated getting a custom controller like a SCUF, but ultimately, the cost has deterred me. However, I have discovered the PS4 StrikePack F.P.S. Dominator by Collective Minds Gaming Co. Ltd.. The question still remains though: How is it?
